For more than 100 years, American Baptist College has stood as sacred ground – a place where pastors, preachers, and prophetic leaders have been prepared to serve the Church and the world. From Rev. Dr. Julius Scruggs and Rev. C. T. Vivian to Congressman John Lewis, the legacy of this mission continues to shape the moral and spiritual fabric of our communities.

Today, ABC is at a defining moment.

The realignment of federal funding has created new challenges for how we sustain and strengthen our mission. We’re asking our alumni, friends, and supporters to help us raise $2.6 million by June 30, 2026, to close the funding gap and ensure the continuation of our mission. Your unrestricted gift to the President’s Fall 2025 Appeal will directly support students and faculty in the ongoing work of preparing moral and spiritual leaders who will serve and transform communities.
